Guaranteed Poker Tournaments are real money poker tournaments that have a prizepool guarantee regardless of the amount of players registered. For example, if a tournament is listed as a $5000 Guaranteed tournament with a $50 buyin, this means that even if there is 5, or 500 players, the minimum prizepool is guaranteed to be $5000. So if there is only 50 players, there is a ton of overlay and gives players incredible value.
