Loose-passive games are social poker. The game will have few raises and every player will play until the end. Of course, there will be showdowns. This form is usually with lower betting limits. Beginners populate this type of game for entertainment and to socialize with one another; they are not focusing on making money from the game. The stakes are small compared to other type of entertainment. It is usually the easiest type of game to beat.

Loose-Passive Game Strategies
You will be using different strategies, since it is not competitive in nature.

Safe Assumptions
Players rarely raise, even if they have strong hands. The position of where you and your opponents are sitting does not matter as much. There is less information to be gathered when you are playing poker for social and entertainment purposes.

Folding Hands
Do not get caught up in the loose play. You need to fold unproductive hands. The most important factor in this game is the cards you receive. Again, by playing straight forward, you will have a huge edge over your opponents who are making a lot of mistakes.

Bad Beats
It can get frustrating when you are trying to figure out your opponents' hands when you are playing against more than 6 people. Everyone is in the pot has a different style. With that many people in the pot, there will be a lot of draws out there. Bad beats will happen more than usual. Remember, when these opponents draw out on you it's because they are playing poorly. As long as they are playing poorly, you maintain an edge in the game and in the long run you will be a winner.

Betting
It is hard to tell what others holds. The tendency might be to raise to find out whether the opponent has a strong hand or not. However, as stated before, all of the players will most likely call all your raises. It is better to continue to draw as cheaply as possible and only raise when you have made a hand.

Strategy
When you see ten hands in a row ending with a showdown, you can conclude that no bet is respected. All players enter the pot with the hands that they are dealt. The best strategy is to fold frequently. You will need the best cards at showdown to claim the pot, because bluffing will not work.
